These are just some examples of how a modern wood chip or pellet heating can be used efficiently on an industrial level. There are any number of stories of success of how customers (agricultural operations, commerce, wood-processing industry and local heat networks) have been able to massively reduce their heating costs after switch to biomass heating.
Many of our customers (in particular carpenters, vintners, farmers) have "wood waste" that can be burned only with great difficulty in a conventional wood heating, since such special fuels or alternative combustion materials will clog up heating systems not suitable for them.
We consider wood wastes to be: Cut-offs, sawdust, vine stocks or other fuel woods such as poplars and willows.
Even addition of alternative fuels, such as corncob, Miscanthus (elephant grass) or rapeseed straw at up to 50 % of the total fuel volume is, of course, also possible.

Benefits of underfeed combustion
- The underfeed firing boiler is suitable for fuel in the form of wood chips with a residual moisture of 8 – 45 % and pellets.
This means that this device is particularly suitable for joiners, carpenters and sawmills with mostly machine-dried wood residue with an extremely low residual moisture.

THE IDEAL HEATING BOILER FOR FARMERS, SAWMILLS AND MUCH MORE HEAT USER

Logically, carpentries and joiner workshops as well as sawmills produce enormous amounts of wood residue. For many operations, the question arises of how this wood residue, such as sawdust, slabs, chopped waste wood, can be thermally used in the own operation.
Long experience by GILLES with the sophisticated combustion technology permits heating even material dried in the drying chamber to a residual moisture of less than 10 % without problems and cleanly.
HEATING GREENHOUSES EFFICIENTLY AND AT LOW COSTS
Traditionally many commercial greenhouses, hothouses or polytunnes from local gardeners or nurseries are heated with gas, oil or district heat. This leads to enormous annual fuel costs. Many glass house operators now switch to biomass heatings and are thus able to reduce their costs by up to 50 %.
